ChiRunning is a series of techniques and ideas that work together to alter the running form and enhance the running experience.  It combines the power and momentum of running with the focus, flow, and balance of Tai Chi.  The goal is achieve injury-free and effortless running.  Chi Running is taught and practices by a wide variety of people.  There are runners that want to go faster. There are runners that want to be able to go longer.  There are runners that want to run differently in order to avoid injury.  Some runners just want to enjoy running year after year after year.  We are of all ages, shapes, sizes, and levels of experience.   We all have different goals and our own “stories.”  What do we have in common?  The desire for gradual progression toward increased efficiency and long-lasting health.  ChiRunning is positive.
